To open Magic Files Composer dialog choose [File | Magic Files | Composer] menu item. Before processing specify directories where source files and files-containers are stored. Also specify desired size for resulting magic files. Each file-container can hold from 1 to 255 source files. Their total file size should not exceed file-container's size multiplied by 6. If source files are very large they should be splitted in smaller chunks before processing. You can create magic files of any size (but no more than 100 MB)

If file container size is more than 16 MB (100MB / 6) it should be splitted in smaller parts by WinRAR before processing (total size of magic file cannot exceed 100 MB)

If errors were reported you need to restore files containers to their original state, make necessary changes and try again. To restore the containers press Restore files-containers button.
Depending on error type you may need to do the following:

1. Some source files were not processed (file names are listed in report).
   Solution: Use more files-containers or use files-containers of bigger size or increase target magic files size.
2. Some files-containers were not processed.
   Solution: Use less files-containers or use files-containers of smaller size or decrease target magic files size.

To open Magic Files Decoder choose [File | Magic Files | Decoder] menu item.
It decodes magic files stored locally on your PC (for privacy reasons it does not decode magic files from 100 KB to 10 MB). Magic files of any size downloaded from WWW and Usenet are decoded automatically, without need to use the decoder.
